Located in the heart of Dubai Design District, P.LUSH offers an interactive design experience that showcases the limitless potential of recycled plastic and envisions a sustainable future. The pavilion blends generative design tools with environmentally conscious material strategies to create a complex, responsive, and visually striking form. It invites visitors to pause, disconnect, and appreciate the beauty and sophistication of recycled HDPE, reinforcing the idea that sustainability can be both functional and exquisite.

Inspired by the traditional Majlis, P.LUSH consists of three interconnected geodesic domes. The recycled plastic panels—colored in black, white, and gold—draw from Emirati cultural attire, bringing depth, richness, and intimacy to the space.

In response to the pandemic, the pavilion integrates an innovative system that allows selected panels to open when visitor numbers exceed a safe threshold. This enhances natural ventilation while serving as a visual alert. The interactive nature of the system ensures the pavilion adapts to different users and events throughout its lifecycle.
