About
Humans 2.0 is a visionary design studio that reimagines how humans might live, adapt, and thrive beyond Earth. The studio challenges students to design habitats for extreme environments—from lunar surfaces and Martian plains to deep-sea terrains and other speculative worlds.
Rooted in science, computation, and architectural imagination, Humans 2.0 pushes students to blend research with storytelling, engineering with fiction, and advanced digital workflows with material experimentation.
Throughout the studio, participants prototype future habitats, develop new spatial ecologies, and explore how technology, biology, and human behavior redefine architecture when the context is no longer Earth as we know it.
The outcome is a collection of bold, intelligent, and deeply imaginative proposals that question not only where we live next, but what kind of humans we are becoming.
