About
The Computational Design Lab introduces students to the creative power of computation in architecture—where form emerges from logic, systems, and experimentation.
Phase 1 grounds students in Rhino, using AI as an inspiration tool to design a futuristic concept store for a brand of their choice. This phase builds spatial intuition and storytelling before moving into more advanced computational work.
Phase 2: Pavilion of the future: As the studio progresses, students explore parametric modeling, generative strategies, and digital fabrication, learning how patterns grow, how structures adapt, and how data can drive design.
They apply their designs by creating a Pavilion of the future, pushing the boundaries of computational design and materiality.
Think computationally. Design intelligently. Prototype fearlessly.
