ACADEMIA
MATTERMINDS
GIU,2024-2025

MatterMinds is an experimental design lab that fuses computation, biology, and material innovation to rethink how we build and how we inhabit the world. It blends scientific research with creative exploration, pushing students and designers to prototype new “skins,” structures, and ecologies inspired by nature. At its core, MatterMinds is a playground for future-making—where technology, imagination, and material experimentation collide.

HUMANS 2.0
GIU, 2024-2025
Humans 2.0 is a future-focused design initiative where students reimagine how humanity can adapt, live, and thrive in extreme environments—from outer space to harsh Earth conditions. It blends architecture, computation, and speculative storytelling to prototype new habitats, systems, and ways of living beyond current limits.

DIGITAL VISUALIZATION LAB
GIU, 2025
The Digital Visualization Lab is a fast-paced, future-forward course that teaches students how to communicate architecture through cutting-edge digital tools. Across the semester, students model, customize, animate, and render—from Computational design tools to 3ds Max and Corona- building a complete visual world around their assigned Case Study House. It’s all about turning ideas into immersive, cinematic architecture.

COMPUTATIONAL DESIGN LAB
GIU, 2023-2025
The Computational Design Lab is a hands-on experimental studio where students learn to think, design, and build through algorithms, simulations, and material behavior. It merges digital tools with nature-inspired logic, empowering students to prototype complex forms, adaptive systems, and innovative material structures. It’s a playground for computational creativity—where code, geometry, and fabrication meet.
