MatterMinds is an experimental design lab that explores the intersection of bio-based materials, computation, and architectural thinking. As a hands-on learning space, it invites students and creatives to investigate how matter behaves, transforms, and evolves—turning natural processes into design intelligence.

Each edition of MatterMinds functions as a mini-research incubator, blending digital workflows with physical experimentation. From bioplastics, chistosan, algae and mycelium to algorithmic patterning, morphogenesis, and material-driven geometries, participants prototype new forms of “skin,” “structure,” and “enclosure.”
